Dahlias make nonstop cut flowers from mid summer to first frost, and they're surprisingly easy to grow if you know what they like.
Dividing dahlia tubers in the winter months is necessary to keep plants healthy long term (and produces tons of extra plants to share). Learn how!
Join us from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 15th for a hands-on dahlia tuber dividing workshop. We'll start with an overview of how to grow dahlias, from spring planting, to summer pruning, to easiest overwintering.
Learn how to properly divide the dormant tubers (and turn one dahlia into many), identify eyes (which are hard to spot until you learn how), and keep track of dormant varieties.
Plan to go home with a few new dahlias to try!
PLUS get free seeds at the simultaneous seed swap! If you have extra seeds, bring them to share, but there is an abundance of extra seeds to go around.

Here at Garden Project Academy, I help do-it-yourselfers like you to design your own landscape, have more successful garden projects (big and small), and make the world a better place with the opportunity you have to do some gardening. Practical, ecological strategies and best practices that make a positive impact.
